MEET THE MAKERS
A Community of Indonesian Artisans
Hadiprana Gallery partnered with Meet the Makers to showcase the appreciation of Indonesian heritage and community development. It was three days of art workshops and seminars, ensuring their knowledge would be passed down to the next generation. They invited everyone from school children to adults, all the way to craft lovers, who were eager to learn the fine craftsmanship from the masters.
Their various workshops include traditional methods of weaving and crafts. Such as Manirat and Sotis weaving, Tritik and Tassels making, and Barkcloth Journal painting + Stitching.
Every day, craft lovers would come and join the process of making the most intricate crafts in Indonesia. The Art Workshop also opened up their eyes to a whole new level of appreciation for Indonesian artisans and artworks.
