Sigarmangsi Tehnique
Made Gunawan’s HARVEST painting exhibition, brought not just an inspiration to the visitors but also an acknowledgement of the traditional Balinese painting technique called Sigarmangsi. On Saturday, the art workshop was held for friends of Hadiprana. Artists, students, and art lovers came to listen and try the Sigarmangsi method with direct guidance from Made Gunawan. The technique emphasized the colourings from light to dark gradation, creating in-depth volume for the object. The participants were eager to learn and had one-on-one teaching from the maestro himself.
