Born in 1975 in the village of Sayan Ubud, Bali. He graduated from the Indonesian Art Institute (ISI) in Denpasar, Bali majoring in fine art. In 2005 he had the opportunity to continue to study art in Germany. His works are often involved in national and international exhibitions, such as in Singapore, Germany and Australia. Her favorite themes are women, children and animals.

In some works, Sadu showed minimalist characters, for which he combined a sweep of expressive tendencies with strong and sharp line strokes. In his paintings, Wayan Sadu shows his skills in drawing strong and flexible lines. The pressure he used to draw lines is not defined, which resulting in unclear objects to decipher.

Wayan Sadu’s paintings were mind-blowing because he used his intuition. The things in his paintings are not lifeless objects but they are his families or his friends. His artworks are also open for interpretation and people's imagination. Wayan Sadu hopes his artworks will always stimulate observers to look for answers to questions that pop up in their minds.

As the artist he has a deep concern for social issues, although he does not like to express criticism explicitly through his works. He does not mind if some people say that his paintings are hard to understand. Currently Wayan Sadu lives in Ubud, Bali with his Japanese wife, and their two children.
