In this exhibition, İbrahim Eraslan, known by his artistic name “ibrart,” invites us into a compelling visual journey where traditional weaving meets contemporary portraiture. By using handwoven carpets as his canvas, the artist reimagines portrait art through a cultural lens,  turning each piece into a dialogue between memory, identity, and emotion.

At the heart of his work are stories of women, expressive faces, and a deep engagement with cultural memory. These portraits are not static images... they breathe, remember, and feel. The woven surfaces are not simply materials, but symbolic grounds where history and personal narratives intertwine. 

Through this body of work, ibrart extends his artistic language beyond borders, aiming to create a cross-cultural conversation that transcends geography and tradition. Each thread carries a story; each face speaks across time.

This exhibition is not only a visual experience, it is an invitation to reflect, remember, and reconnect with the woven fabric of human emotion and shared heritage.
