The Dayak tribe scattered on the island of Kalimantan has a variety of stunning distinctive dances. Usually, the men’s dances are performed with dynamic and mighty movements. Meanwhile, the women’s dance is very gentle, like rice in the flowing wind, twisting. The demure dance of the women and the strength of the men have always been related to the Hornbill, which is the type of bird sacred to the Dayak Tribe. All the dance movements of the Dayak tribe can’t be separated from the spiritual fusion with nature and its Creator.
